This morning, 12/2/2018, I was sending out an invoice and noticed the invoice date was reading 11/30/2018. I corrected it on that particular invoice and sent it, then started a new one...and the date defaulted back to the 11/30/2018 date. After searching through numerous areas, I can't figure out where to correct the default date? Not sure why it changed in the first place...? My desktop Mac has the correct date...seems only to be my Quickbooks that is out of whack.
Thank you in advance for any guidance you can provide.

Solved! Go to Solution.
In Desktop there is a user Preference setting (in General) called "Default date for new transactions"
you can choose either "today" or "last date used" - you may have the latter setting.

Thank you so much Mike, I found what you mentioned, (Preferences, then Transactions) and selected the last selection "use today's date as the default"...and it did the trick...new invoices are automatically showing today's date again. I have no idea what made it change (I've never had the problem till this weekend...) but maybe an update defaulted the setting.
Again, my sincere appreciation for your help! Wishing you a great holiday season,
Nanette
