Creating a custom report for a category/Account with a class by Month

Hi!

I'm looking to create a custom report for my categories (which I believe is now called Account). I'm looking to have  class, month, and if possible, budget to Actual. I only have 4 accounts/categories that I need this for, each of course would be its own report.

so I'm envisioning the Y-axis has the classes and the x axis having a budget to actual for every month. Is this possible or is this too customized?

At the very least it'd be great if its possible to just have a report (one category/account) with y axis of classes and x axis of total by month if we're not able to get the budget v. actual in there.

Many thanks for the help

I'm here to help you run a report of the accounts with the details that you need, @AlexARC.

Currently, the details that you want for a report is not available. As a workaround, you can run the Transaction detail by account report.

Here's how:

  1. From the left menu, choose Business Overview.
  2. Search for Transaction Detail by Account Report.
  3. From the Report period dropdown, choose the date you want to include in the report.
  4. You can choose how you want to group the report. Select Class if you want.

Then, export the report to Excel. From there, you can edit your report and arrange the details on how you want it to appear.

For future reference, I'm also adding this guide to memorize a report if you want to save the customization. This way, you can save time in setting up the report.
