Creating a Report on Equipment Purchases

Hi folks.......

For tax purposes, I want to create a QBooks report for my equipment purchases. My account 1710 is for new equipment purchases and I'd like to create a report that would subtotal purchases by year.

Is this possible?

Thanks.

Creating a Report on Equipment Purchases

Creating a tailored financial report for your equipment purchases in QuickBooks Desktop for Mac is essential for maintaining accurate tax records and effective financial management. Let's explore the best way to accomplish this with the existing reporting options in QuickBooks, @RC_in_MN.

Please note that currently, there is no specific report available that summarizes the subtotal of your equipment purchases by year. However, you can navigate to the Chart of Accounts and select Account 1710. Once you've accessed that account, generate a QuickReport and Customize it to suit your preferences.

You might also want to memorize this report, so you can easily access your customized settings in the future.

Additionally, consider checking out this article on how to gain insights into your expenses and accounts payable: Customize vendor reports.
