Custom Reports in Management Reports have the wrong dates

I've created a number of custom reports -- balance sheet, income statements, AR, AP, etc. with the goal of creating a large management report. They all have their date setting to "This year to last month". Viewing the reports individually works fine. However, when I include these custom reports into a management report, the dates of the custom reports ignore the management report's date setting.

For example, if I try to view a management report and select the date of Aug 1 - Aug 31, the custom reports in that management report will continue to show "January 1 - November 30", thus "ignoring" the management report's date setting.

I have tried clearing the cache, opening it in a private window, opening it in the downloadable desktop app for Quickbooks Online, all with no success. The custom report dates are "stuck".

How do I fix this? I have to run this management report everything month for a bunch of companies, so generating it one custom report at a time will be exceedingly time consuming!

Custom Reports in Management Reports have the wrong dates

Hello there, blueshirtbistro.

We may need to manually change all the custom reports date one at a time since they'll not recognize the reporting period for management reports. Here's how:

  1. Go to the Reports menu.
  2. Within the Management reports, select where the customer reports are added.
  3. Click the drop-down arrow under the Action column.
  4. Find the custom report you've added and set the date from August 01, 2020, to August 31, 2020.
  5. Click Save twice.
