Buy nowWe have 22 Custom Reports that are Scheduled to run Daily.
These reports are supposed to be emailed each day, but over the past few weeks *most* reports are not emailed at all.
This issue has been a problem for years. It has gotten worse the past few weeks.
Sometimes all 22 reports are emailed as Scheduled, but often some are missing.
Are other people having this same problem?
Is there a workaround?
Our business depends on these daily reports running successfully. Each day the reports are NOT emailed as scheduled, an employee is required to download each report manually.
I appreciate any guidance that the QB Community can offer.
Thank you
Thank you for reaching out to us regarding the issues you've been facing with the scheduled delivery of your custom reports, @kennedy442. I understand how crucial these reports are for your daily operations, and I want to ensure to provide the necessary guidance to get this resolved.
When scheduled reports are sent out to email addresses, QuickBooks Online (QBO) uses quickbooks@notification.intuit.com as the sender. It's possible that it hasn't been added to the safe senders list on your employees' email provider. Please have your employees refer to one of the following support articles to unblock the address:
If neither of these support resources is for the preferred email provider, please reach out to them for information on adding or unblocking Intuit service email addresses.
Additionally, contacting our Live Support team can provide updates and further assistance regarding the scheduled custom reports not being sent out automatically. Here’s how to contact them:
It's great that you have a dedicated team member managing the manual downloading and sending of reports. I understand it isn't ideal and your proactive measure to ensure that all necessary information is still reaching your team daily is commendable.
When the issue is resolved, I'd also like to add an article about QBO's cash flow planner as an additional guide for tracking your income and expenses: Use the cash flow planner.
I hope the steps we've discussed will help ensure your reports are delivered as expected. Keeping your operations running smoothly is our priority, and it’s great to see how dedicated you are to maintaining that. If you need further assistance or have additional questions in the meantime, feel free to click on the Reply button. We're committed to offering ongoing support.
Thank you for your reply, however it is not helpful.
The Scheduled QB Reports are not going to spam.
We check our spam folders daily.
The QB Scheduled Reports are inconsistent, and have been inconsistent for years.
Sometimes all 22 reports are emailed daily as Scheduled. Usually a few are missing each day though.
I see other people on QB's Community Forum have similar issues.
QB's Customer Service only suggests we "clear our cache". This is a unhelpful suggestion since there is nothing in a personal computer's cache that would prevent QB from sending these Scheduled Emails.
Does anyone else have a recommended solution?
These reports are still being emailed to us inconsistently.
Yesterday 14 reports out of 22 custom scheduled reports were emailed successfully ( meaning 8 failed to send).
The day before there were 8.
The day before that, all 22 were received successfully.
The day before that there were none.
Has anyone in the community found a workaround?
