Customer service need help

Help has arrived, @cactus403.

If you’re referring to cancel your QuickBooks Online account, I can definitely walk you through the steps to do it. Before that, can you share with me what makes you decide to cancel it?

I recommend exporting your data first to make sure you’ll have a personal copy of them. Then you can follow the steps below:

  1. Go to the Gear icon and choose Account and Settings.
  2. Select Billing & Subscription.
  3. In the QuickBooks section, click Cancel.
  4. Click Continue to cancel, then Continue to cancel again.
  5. Follow the onscreen instructions, then click Confirm Cancel.

Please know that once you canceled your QBO account, you’re unable to create nor modify your entries in the system. This will be available for read-only access.

QuickBooks will keep your records for only 1 year, so you can still use them in case you decide to come back. You can read this article to learn more about our policies.

Get back to me here if you have a follow-up question about the cancelation. I’ll be happy to assist you further.
