For five years,
I've really want to switch from Quickbooks desktop to QBO.
The only thing holding me back (deal breaker) is not being able to customize sales receipts.
I've done it in Quickbooks Desktop (see attachment).
And QBO can already customize invoices.
Should be pretty easy fix.
I'm willing to pay for this feature.
Hope you can make it happen
Hi there, @yonaberlin1.
I'll share insights about customizing sales receipts in QuickBooks Online (QBO) so you can personalize the layout you desired.
With the new features included in invoices and estimates, customers are now unable to customize sales receipts with their newly created QBO account. However, the option to switch back to the old layout is still available.
This means, you're able to use the old layout of invoices and estimates template and you can also customize sales receipts. But please be informed that switching back to the old layout will limit you in using the deposit feature in an estimate.
Kindly read and use the following articles below to learn more about the new and old layout of your sales form templates:
Now that the option to customize sales receipts is no longer available, I recommend letting our product developers know about this by sending a request via feedback. I'll show you how.
I'm including our Customer Feedback for QuickBooks Online page to track the status of your request and get the latest updates from our developer team. Updates such as how the recent enhancement made to QBO helps our business owners, like you.
It'll always be my pleasure to help if you've got other questions aside from customizing your sales form templates in QuickBooks. Use the Reply button and leave your comment below so that I can assist you further. Take care always, @yonaberlin1!
Thank you for the reply.
Pretty sure both the new and old template can only customize (1) invoice (2) estimate, NOT (3) sales receipt.
This is clear on the the page you referenced.
Plz have a look at the level of customization I'm looking for in the attachment to my original post (which was created using Quickbooks desktop)
I don't think either the new or the old have that level of customization.
Looking forward to hearing good news.
