Customize Customer Statements

Hello there, @apadua.

I'll share some insights about customizing the customer statement format in QuickBooks Online (QBO) and guide you in sending feedback or product recommendations to help improve the features and your experience using the platform.

For the time being, changing the customer statement template isn't an option in QBO. However, you can choose to list each transaction as a single line, including all details, and show the aging table at the bottom of the form. To do this, here's how:

  1. Go to the Gear icon.
  2. Select Account and settings.
  3. Go to the Sales menu.
  4. Click anywhere in the Statements section to open its contents.
  5. Choose the option you want (List each transaction as a single lineList each transaction including all detail lines, or Show ageing table at bottom of statement).
  6. Select Save.

On the other hand, I can see how customizing the customer statement format would benefit and aid you in managing your income and sales transactions. With this, I would encourage you to send suggestions or product recommendations. We'll take them as opportunities to improve the various features of our products. Here's how:

  1. Go to the Gear icon.
  2. Select Feedback.
  3. Type in your recommendation in the Share your feedback field.
  4. Click Next.
  5. Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the process.

Also, there are three types of customer statements in QBO. It's the Balance forwardOpen Item, and Transaction Statement. If you wish to know more about them, kindly check out this article: Create and send customer statements in QuickBooks Online.

If you have any other concerns or questions about managing income and sales transactions in QBO, please let me know by adding a comment below. I'm always here to help. Have a great day!

Customize Customer Statements

It is crucial to make this option available to us as soon as possible. For example, while we are able to designate a LOCATION and then what address, phone number, etc. to use for that location on an INVOICE, we have NO CHOICE as to what address the STATEMENT uses and we end up with the wrong address on the statement when we want it to show the LOCATION address. The layout is also an issue but not as important as this location issue is.
Please advise as to when this will become an option. Thank you!
