Delete a build assembly

Hi there, Welayah.

You can only delete a build assembly item with no transactions. Otherwise, making this assembly inactive is the only option to hide this.

Here's how to delete a build assembly item:

1. Click List menu.

2. Choose Item list.

3. Locate the assembly you've created.

4. Right click it and select Delete item.

5. You'll be prompted with Are you sure you want to delete this item? choose the OK button.

Follow the steps below to inactivate the assembly item in case there are transactions associated with it.

1. Choose the assembly item in the Item list page.

2. Click it to expand the page.

3. Select Item is inactive in the right corner.

4. Choose the Make inactive button. Once done the option automatically shows checkmark.

5. Hit the OK button.

Please check this article on how to add, modifying and deleting items: Add, edit, and delete items. It also provides answers to your frequently asked questions.

Please let me know if you have other question related with QuickBooks. I'm always here to help you.
