Before anything else, know we aim to provide accurate resolutions to our customers to help them address their concerns. If you're referring to the account in your Chart of accounts, know there isn't a way to delete the Checking account. Instead, you can make it inactive inside your Quick Books Online (QBO) account. We'll write down the steps to get you going:
- Access your QuickBooks Online company.
- On the top-right corner, click the Gear icon and select Chart of accounts.
- Find the account you want to delete.
- Select the Action ▼ dropdown and select Make inactive.
