Delete custom / shared reports

How do we delete custom or shared reports?  The documentation here says:

To delete a custom report:

  1. Find the custom report.
  2. Select the dropdown ▼ menu in the Action column.
  3. Select Delete.

What is an "action" column?  There is no drop down like this in the report, in the report center nor in the report menu.  There are no right click menus.

I've come to help, Galin. Let me share my insights about deleting reports in QuickBooks Desktop (QBDT).

The steps from the article you followed are only applicable to QuickBooks Online. Don't worry, I'm here to provide you with the correct steps to delete custom reports in QBDT.

Please see the steps below:

  1. Go to the Reports menu, select Memorized Reports, and then Memorized Report List.
  2. Right-click on the report you want to delete and click Delete Memorized Report.
  3. Click OK.

In QBDT, we can export reports to Excel as workbooks, CSV spreadsheets, or PDFs. This way, we'll have the flexibility to add information relevant to your business needs.
