Greetings, Heather. I know how you can adjust the spacing on the deposit summary in QuickBooks Online.

I want to ensure we're on the same page. Are you trying to edit the columns in the Deposit Detail Report? If so, you can drag each of them to adjust their spacing. I'll show you how:

  1. Open the Reports menu.
  2. Search and open the Deposit Detail report.
  3. Move the line/grid in between columns to expand or shrink the column. See the snapshots below for visual reference:

On the other hand, if you want to change the horizontal rows, I suggest exporting the report as PDF. Then, edit it from Adobe or any PDF application you have available.

Finally, if you're referring to a different thing, kindly provide us with more information about it. This helps us check further and guide you on what to do.

Allow me to clarify more info about editing the Deposit Summary file, @HeatherMarie1.

I appreciate your interest in adjusting the spacing on the Deposit Summary. The ability to modify it is unavailable in QuickBooks Online. You'll want to download the .PDF file and convert it using a third-party online file converter tool, like from PDF to Word, to edit or adjust the spacing.

Once you got an online converter tool, follow these steps to convert the file:

  1. In QuickBooks Online, click the Search icon.
  2. Select the Deposit transaction.
  3. Click Print and then choose Print deposit summary only.

  4. Hit Download.

Once done, you can use the online converter tool (third-party application) and then select the PDF file to transform it into Word. Once completed, open the document file and edit the spacing using a Word application.
