Join nowHello @turleylisa,
In QuickBooks Online, there isn't a need to create a deposit if your sales receipts do not use your Undeposited Funds account as the receiving account.
In the same manner, here's an article you can read to learn more about your account: Deposit payments into the Undeposited Funds account in QuickBooks Online.
You're on the right track, please do make sure to match your sales receipts and the downloaded transaction to avoid creating duplicate entries in your record.
On top of that, I've also included this reference helpful with the steps needed if you wanted to start balancing your account register: How to reconcile your accounts so they always match your bank and credit card statements?
I'd suggest getting back to this thread if you need assistance with your transactions. I'm always here to back you up. Take care and stay safe!
Thank you for your help and the attached articles.
Yes I'm having some trouble reconciling my account because I didn't start my first
reconciliation from January when I imported my banking and I believe I recorded
many transfers incorrectly. So I am currently going through all of the tutorials now.
Thanks again.
