Is this problem with reports ever going to be resolved? Not being able to access older reports is an impossible situation. The only reason to put data in an accounting program is to run reports, and rebuilding hundreds of reports is totally unreasonable. Please give a reasonable update. You said Intuit was going to fix this. When?

This specific issue has been resolved a few weeks back. As @DeniseG stated above, you'll need to install the R6 update to resolve this issue.
Follow the steps below on how to do a manual update:
Right after the update process, you'll need to verify and rebuild data of your QuickBooks Desktop (QBDT) company.

This is not good. DO NOT UPGRADE TO 2021. You will loose all memorized reports and rules. Not sure about transactions yet.
I was forced to upgrade from 2017 to 2020 and it was and still is a total fiasco!! I would be better off forgetting about using merchant services for credit cards and having no payroll. There are just my husband and myself in this business. I have used QKBK for at least 30 years and I have never been so frustrated with a company in my life. I was thinking about buying the 2021 version and just starting all over, but after reading these reports of ppl frustrations, I will not be doing that. I think it might just be time to pay an accountant to do it all ....... Quickbooks you have gone too far this time and are nothing but a money grabbing company!!!
I have used QB Desktop for 24 years. In the upgrade to the QB Desktop version 2021, I lost the ability to drag accurately in the Memorized Report. I drag a name and it pops up not where I dragged it to. It hopps 1 or 2 spaces above or below. After 1 hour with Level 1 support I was told that I will NEVER be able to drag accurately in the Memorized List!! I was not allowed to be transferred to a Level 2 technician for help. I put my complaint on the How Did We Do page, and when I sent it I got back an error message. I hope to get a response to this complaint. THank you for listening.

You can perform troubleshooting methods such as updating the program to its latest release, verifying, and rebuilding the program if needed.
If you have performed these methods with the Customer Care team, I'd recommend contacting them again to check if there is an ongoing investigation. They have the tools to verify and perform a screen share session for the documentation.
However, if you haven't tried it yet, you can follow the steps below:
Once done, try to go back to the memorized report and customize it again. If the issue persists, you can proceed to the next step of troubleshooting, Verify the data. This is done to check further if any errors are causing the program not to work properly.

Previously when I posted this problem, I had followed all the recommended steps. All did not work. Yes, as a final resort, I had to go through and rebuild all my customized reports. I am very hesitant to update to 2022. I will hold off at this time. Not Happy, KenC1
I dont understand, why is real issue being overlooked. The users are saying they have had created several memorized reports hard way. And after upgrading, they lost all the reports. They are trying to get them back with minimumu time spent. All the replies from intuit tells customer to rebuild them again and Call support . Atleast customer are giving feedback to improve the software gliches. I guess this topic might not be worth spending time by "engineers" at Intuit
