For me to be able to assist you appropriately, may I know the specific error message that is showing on your screen when trying to send an invoice? Any additional information will be much appreciated.

Does anyone have a solution yet to the error we keep getting when trying to send an invoice?

I don't have it in front of me at the moment, but it says something about an application error and I'm unable to save or send the invoice. Some will work and some will not, but I'm not seeing a commonality with those that won't work.   Ive contacted QB at least 3 times on this, since mid December, and just yesterday got 3 emails saying it was fixed.  Yay! so I went in and tried and nope, still didn't work.  I used the app on my phone and was able to create and save 2 invoices through the app, but that doesn't always work either. I will post the exact wording here when it happens again.

As per checking, I've found an ongoing investigation (INV-94956) regarding customers, receiving an unexpected error when trying to send and save invoices in QBO. Please know that our engineers are working to fix the issue as soon as possible. With this, I recommend contacting our support team. I know that you already contacted them but it's the best way we can do so you'll be added to the list of affected users and receive email updates.

 

Here's how:

  1. Log in to your QBO company.
  2. Select Help (?).
  3. Click Contact Us and choose a way to connect with us:
  • Start a chat with a support expert.
  • Get a callback from the next available expert.

This is a joke of a response this was January and now it's May. And I am experiencing this now & have to talk to a robot.
