Does anyone have recommendations for a third-party receipt snap app please?

Helping you to achieve your goal is also my success, @i58secretary. So I'm here to route and provide details on how you can find the receipt snap app you're looking for.

Let's start this by providing scenarios. Please refer below.

If you want to integrate a receipt snap application to your QuickBooks Online (QBO) account, I recommend visiting our QuickBooks Apps store to look for an app compatible with the program. Since we treat all businesses fairly, we're unable to specify what software you can use. With that said, feel free to browse the site and search there. It's my pleasure to guide you on how:

  1. Head to our QuickBooks Apps store at this link.
  2. From the search field, type a keyword of the application you're looking for. qbo app.JPG
  3. Then, click the search icon.
  4. The page will provide a list of apps that are related to what you search.
  5. To decide which program best suits your business, you can click each app to review the details.

On the other hand, if the purpose is to have a receipt snap app for expenses or bills, you no longer need a third-party application. QBO already has this feature that can cater for your needs. This requires the use of a mobile device. Here's how:

  1. If you haven't already, install first the QBO mobile app for iOS or Android.
  2. When finished, open the application and sign in to your company.
  3. Next, click the Menu ≡ icon and click the Receipt snap option. receiptsnap.JPG
  4. Then, select Receipt camera and snap a photo of your receipt or bill.
  5. Just select Use this photo, then Done.

For more details about the process, please check this article: Upload your receipts and bills to QuickBooks Online.

I've got here a compilation of QBO how-to videos that are easy to access and use as additional guides and visual references when doing your tasks. To get started, choose whichever topic you need.

I'm just around the corner and ready to assist if you have any QBO concerns or additional questions about the snap receipt app. Simply leave a comment below to notify me of your response. Keep smiling to lighten up your day and mood. Thanks for posting.
