Buy nowHi there, @shouse1.
I see the benefit of migrating your sales order from QuickBooks Desktop (QBDT) to QuickBooks Online (QBO). Currently, the sales order isn't available in QBO. Refer to this article to know what data file you can transfer: Learn how features and data move from QBDT to QBO.
For now, you can use estimates in QBO instead of sales orders. To improve your experience with QBO and have the sales order feature considered, you can send feedback to our Product Development Team.
Here's how to send feedback:
1. Select the Gear icon, then choose Feedback.
2. Type in your comments or product suggestions.
3. Select Next to submit.
While our team is considering this feature, you can use a third-party app to create a sales order.
For future reference, you can check these articles to help you create an estimate as an alternative to a sales order:
Please click the reply button if you have further questions about how migration works in QBO. I'll be happy to assist you. Keep safe!
No Sales Order is available in QB Online. You will need to use a 3rd party app with Sales Order feature to integrate with QB Online. If you were using QB Desktop with the subscription license, you can use the trial version to open your historical data anytime if required.
RE: No Sales Order is available in QB Online.
Wow! Seems weird as Intuit is pushing everyone to online. Someone should tell their marketing team...
Add this to the long, long list of ways QB Desktop is better than Online.
