Please know that connection speed matters in QBO. It is built and tested with the latest browsers and operating systems in mind. Older systems generally don't receive regular browser updates, which can negatively impact the performance of your QBO account. One example is the issue you have right now.
The first step in fixing this is to check our internet speed by running the Google Speed Test to examine its level of connection.

After that, let's open your account to a private browser, except for Incognito mode. Intuit doesn't recommend Incognito since this mode can slow down the performance of the system with each new session/visit to the site causing all site elements to be fetched again.

Once done, log in to your account, then go to Products and Services, and add your product. If this works, clear the cache of your regular browser to eliminate piled-up data.

Thanks for the reply.
I have done what you suggested but it didn't work. My internet speed shows as "very fast". Also when I try to add the product the sales tax field doesn't show. I do not know what else I can do.
