Hello, hoping someone can give me a permanent fix for this. I have gone through my clients books numerous times, deleting duplicate transactions. I have done this, reconciled, only to sign back on later and have all of the transactions I deleted from the register back. Its driving me nuts! How do I stop this from happening for good? I went into the review tab and only see each transaction once already categorized. No duplicates in the review tab. So not sure what is happening. All I know is I need to get this fixed ASAP so please help. Thank you.
I recognize how frustrating it can be when duplicate transactions keep displaying after deleting them, Mickey.
Since the deleted transactions keep showing up in your client's register, you can use the Audit log to check if someone added them on purpose.
The program documents all account activity, such as user sign-ins, changes to settings, edits to customers, vendors, employees, and payroll submissions.
Here are the steps to review their account's history:
You can see this reference to learn more about tracking certain actions and recognizing changes made automatically by the program: Use the audit log in QuickBooks Online.
If no one from their team manages the said entries, you can perform some troubleshooting steps to rectify the issue.
You can start by opening your QuickBooks account in a private or incognito window. This can help determine if the issue is specific to your current browser. Please know that online platforms like QBO rely on the browser's cache to operate efficiently. When this becomes corrupted, it can cause the platform to malfunction and exhibit unexpected behaviors.
Check out the shortcut keys below for quick navigation:
Once logged in, visit your client's register. If you don’t see duplicate transactions, get back to your regular browser and clear its cache. Doing this helps the program to run smoothly. You can also use other supported browsers as an alternative.

Hi Madelyn,
Thank you for your reply. I checked the audit log and it didn't really tell me much. It looks like the bank feed keeps pulling these transactions in even after I delete them. They are not showing as needing to be reviewed, they are just duplicates in the register. I tried the incognito window but it didn't hange anything. Not sure what I need to do but i need it corrected quickly so I can do the tax return. Thank you.
We appreciate you getting back here in the thread, Mikey.
