QuickBooks Enterprise Desktop - The title is what I am trying to do, "Export trial balance by class no zeros, and no subtotals and credits are negative and debit is positive." The question is, can export all the data in a report, or can I export all the raw data I need to reformat in Excel. My skills are exceptional in reformating using ArcESB and less so with QuickBooks. I am not an accountant. I have this running on a server with lots of processors and SSD drives if needed for processing. The file contains many years and is around 2 Gig.
I'm here to share some details about the report, 844379403.
You can export the Trial Balance report to Excel by following these steps:

With regard to the customization, we're unable to add a Class column, but you can filter report by Class.
To do that, here's how:
The option to customize the Debit and Credit columns to show a positive and negative amount is unavailable. For the amount to show non-zero, you can open the Customize Report window and go to the Display tab. Click the Advanced button and select the Non-zero option.

I'm always available if you have more questions about QuickBooks Desktop reports. Just leave a reply and I'll get back to you as soon as possible. Thanks.
First, thank you for the detailed answer with all the screenshots and detail. I am the technical person, not the accounting type so forgive me for asking any questions that seem stupid. You wrote, "The option to customize the Debit and Credit columns to show a positive and negative amount is unavailable." Will I have the data available from the export to be able to take a script in Excel and move it around to get the same results?
Thanks again.

Good day, 844379403.
Thanks for the reply!
Though we're unable to show the credits as negative, you'll want to export the Trial balance into an Excel file. From there, you can customize it to show the figures as negative.
You can follow the steps shared by RenjolynC on how to export the report. You can also check these articles for more details:
Post again here if you have more questions. Take care!
QuickBooks does not have a Trial Balance that separates out the expenses by class name.
The Trial Balance is not in one column where Debits are Positive and Credits are Negative.
The account numbers are embedded with the account name.
I am an accountant who wrote a utility called TBX Trial Balance Exporter back in 2004, which gives you these options. I don't see any sign that the T/B will be changed in Desktop.

Sorry for the delay, had to jump on a pressing issue. See image. The only thing I lack is I need the "Class Name" for each entry.
