Form Font and Formatting Issues

Recently had an update to the Quickbooks Online app for my Mac and it started causing all sorts of printing issues where the forms would print blank except for my imported company logo. This was on all forms, ie: invoices, estimates, AP reports, statements, ect. I was able to fix it for invoices and estimates by going into custom forms and changing my font color to black instead of the initial setting and changing the font type.

I cannot seem to figure out how to fix the same thing for reports, statements, ect, because I can't seem to figure out how to change the format for those forms.

Seems like the issue is somehow with the conversion from printing it to whatever format it prints it in. Even when I go to print, and click send in email to print it off in pdf format, it comes out the same way. Only way around fixing it is downloading the form and then converting it to a jpg and printing it that way. Very annoying.

Form Font and Formatting Issues

I highly appreciate the troubleshooting you did in fixing your concern, @WJBOLT_Dustin. Let me share some updates about the behavior in printing forms that you're experiencing.

Please note that there's an ongoing investigation of the issue you mentioned. Rest assured, our product engineers are now working with Apple to address this in the upcoming updates to MacOS. For now, you can follow this workarounds to get you back to business:

  1. To print an invoice, you can change the Template to Airy New. You can perform this from the Custom Form Styles page or under Customize on an existing invoice. Or download to your machine and print directly from Adobe.
  2.  In report printing, export to Excel or download as a PDF and print from Adobe rather than doing this on a browser.
  3.  Once done, sign in to QuickBooks Online using a Windows machine or Mac machine not on the Sonoma OS release.

While our product engineers are working to fix this as soon as possible, I recommend contacting our Online Team support to be listed as one of the affected users. Once added, you'll be notified via email when there's an update on this issue.

On the other hand, check out this article to guide you more in printing forms in QuickBooks Online: Email or print multiple sales forms in QuickBooks Online.

We're determined to help you with your concern as soon as possible. You can also post here again if you have any additional questions related to the program. We're here 24/7 to assist you. Take care.

Form Font and Formatting Issues

Not sure if it was MasOS 14.1 update or the recent Quickbooks Online app update, but after trying to print a report, it seems like everything is working correctly again.
