Forms not attaching completely to email

Hi!

I am having issues with a form not attaching to email correctly. Only 25% of the form wants to load. Top left corner of form. It works for invoices but not the proposal forms. It will show up correctly for printing but not emailing. I have closed qb multiple times. Even redownloaded the program

I'm here to lend a hand so you're able to attach forms to emails successfully in your QuickBooks Desktop account.

 

There are few possible reasons as to why the forms aren't not attaching properly. These may include:

  • The email preference being set incorrectly.
  • A damaged QuickBooks installation.
  • Domain admin was blocked.
  • Account security settings from your email provider.

To get this resolved, you'll first want to make sure QuickBooks Desktop has been updated to the latest release

 

Next, you'll need to check the settings in the web mail preferences. Here's how:

  1. Click Edit in the top menu.
  2. Select Preferences.
  3. Choose Send Forms from the left panel.
  4. Under the My Preferences tab, select the email account you're using.
  5. Click Edit.
  6. Mark the SSL box, or select Default.
  7. In the Server Name field, make sure the server name matches your email provider's settings.

Forms not attaching completely to email

I have done all of that but doesn't seem to be helping. All of the send forms are loading correctly except for the estimates. If i print the estimate, it will load correctly and print but when i try to send the email it will not. If the page was cut into quarters, it only loads the top left quarter of the page. If i email an invoice, it will send just fine

Since my colleagues steps didn't help the issue, I recommend getting in touch with our Customer Support Team. They'll be able to take a closer look and get you squared away as soon as possible. Here's how: 

 

  1. Go to the Help menu. 
  2. Press the QuickBooks Desktop Help option. 
  3. Click the Contact Us hyperlink. 
  4. Give a brief description of the problem and hit Let's talk
  5. Scroll down and choose to Get a callback
