Before moving further, I recommend using some of our troubleshooting steps to help resolve the problem or narrow down the cause:

 

  • Sign out and then back in 
  • Turn off your device and then turn it back on
  • Make sure the app is up-to-date and you're using the latest version

 

If you're tried all of these actions, please let me know in another response and also when this started happening. I'll be waiting for your response!

From my mobile app I can no longer change the estimate number. I need this to be fixed.

None of this made a difference unfortunately.  The estimate is automatically assigned a number and mine happens to be an address I used for a previous one that I do not want to use again, but it won’t let me change it

Before we move on to the next troubleshooting steps, could you please let me know if you received an error message when attempting to change the address? Also, when does this behavior occur?

 

In the meantime, the QuickBooks mobile app may store cache files that can sometimes cause an unusual response from the system. You can clear the app's cache by following these steps: 

 

 In the QuickBooks Online app: 

  • For Android: Go to More> Settings > Refresh Data > Yes
  • For iOS: Go to the Menu > Help & Feedback > Refresh Data > Refresh

 

In your device Settings: 

  • For Android: Go to your device's Settings> AppsQuickBooks app > Storage > Clear Data.
  • For iOS: Go to your device's Settings> General > iPhone Storage. To free up storage without deleting the documents and data for the app, select Offload App

 

If it won't work, you can uninstall and reinstall the app to refresh the system. If persists, I recommend contacting our Support Team to investigate it further.
