Hello, HumidityControlsCo.
Thanks for posting your concern here in the Community. We have the GoPayment app which you can take payments at your business or on the go. If you have a Bluetooth card reader, it's even easier to process payments. However, it only marks an invoice as paid and we're unable to print a receipt of the payment. You can look for a third-party portable Bluetooth receipt printer and check its compatibility with QuickBooks.
Using QuickBooks Payments, you can generate an invoice and accept payment via credit card on your phone. By using mobile invoicing software, you can easily bill your clients, track your invoices and monitor payments using an easy-to-manage system that does most of the work for you.
Also, most mobile invoicing software also enable you to capture signatures by having yourself or clients sign with a finger or stylus on the mobile device. This can be useful for receiving approval on an estimate or for adding your signature to a bill before sending to the client for payment. Additionally, receipts can be easily generated, making it easier for you to keep up with your accounting paperwork.
For QuickBooks GoPayments, you can check out these articles on how to set it up and its functionality:
Feel free to post again if you have other questions. I'm always here to help you out. You take care always and have a great day!
Another option, a field service app to integrate with your QBO account.
I also would like to use QB to print invoices at customers job locations since they required an invoice. My type of business is DSD ( Direct Sales Delivery). This type of sales is usually used at Markets or type of deliveries to a customer where is required an invoice as proof of delivery.
In order to be able to use QuickBooks. I will need to be able to print an invoice on a mobile Printer perhaps on 3" or 4" paper roll. Printers commonly used are Zebra brand via Bluetooth. Therefore, QuickBooks invoice will need a template for a 3" and/or 4" paper roll.
QuickBooks could be a great software that could be taken over this DSD type of business especially for self employees and small business like myself.
If you know of a compatible Bluetooth printer that I could print an invoice from QuickBooks. Please let me know.
Thank you
Hello there, @candyman1.
I can see how beneficial it is if we could print invoices on a 3" or 4" paper roll in QuickBooks Online (QBO) or take over a DSD type of business for businesses like yours. I can share some information with you regarding third-party apps in QuickBooks.
Although QuickBooks supports thousands of various third-party applications, we're unable to recommend which app to use. You can check our QuickBooks App Center and type a keyword in the search box. Then, read the app reviews to help you make a decision on which one to use. Once you find the right app, click to open it.
You can also go to the Apps menu from your QBO account and follow these steps:
Moreover, in case you want to see all your invoice transactions, you can run the Invoice List report. To guide you more on how to have access to this and other reports, refer to this article: Run reports in QuickBooks Online.
If you need additional assistance with your invoices in QuickBooks Online, please feel free to notify us by adding a comment below. We're more than happy to help. Keep safe.
