Gross Margin by Sales Rep in QB Desktop Enterprise version

Hello there, m22.

I'll show you how to pull up the report you need. You can follow these easy steps:

  1. Go to Reports from the menu and choose Sales > Sales by Item Summary.
  2. Click Customize Report.
  3. In the Display tab, select the preferred dates.
  4. Select the Filters tab and enter Rep in the Search Filters field.
  5. Click All sales reps from the drop-down.
  6. Then, OK to update the report.

You can use the Memorize option so you don't need to customize it every time you pull the report. Just click Memorize from the menu and enter the Name and preference. Click OK once done.

To know more about handling your reports, you can open this article: Customize reports in QuickBooks Desktop.

I'll be here if you need anything else. Take care and have a great day!

However, this does not show each rep's performance on the report.

There's one problem, on the report it does not show the rep's performance.  I would have to create a custom report for each rep separately and mail to the Sales Manager.

Hello m22!

Let me join this thread and share some details about the report you need.

I still suggest the Sales by Item Summary report. But instead of filtering the data, we just need to add a column for the sales representatives.

Pull up again the Sales by Item Summary report. Then, select Rep from the Show Columns drop-down. Once done, you'll see the Gross Margin per rep.

You can also check out this article. This will show you different sales reports in QuickBooks Desktop: Customize customer, job, and sales reports in QuickBooks Desktop.
