Have connected a business card and my etsy acct. It seems that income from etsy is showing individual sales & lump sum on my card, how do I ensure it doesn't show twice?

It seems that I am getting paid twice what I think I am.

Good day, evanlurkerphotog.

I'd be glad to share some information about duplicate transactions in QuickBooks Self-Employed (QBSE).

If you connect your business card and Etsy account in QBSE, the transactions will show as duplicates. However, you can use the Exclude feature to delete the duplicate lump sum from your Etsy account. I'll show you how:

  1. Go to the Transactions menu on the left panel.
  2. Locate the transaction you want to exclude and select it to expand the view.
  3. Tick the box to Exclude the transactions.
  4. Once done, click Save and Close.

For more insights about the process, check out the Exclude or delete transactions in QuickBooks Self-Employed guide. It outlines the complete instructions on how to remove entries on a web browser or via a mobile device. From there, you’ll find steps to delete manually added transactions.

For future reference, these guides provide an overview of how to classify transactions and how they show up on the financial reports:

Keep your post coming if you have other concerns about duplicate transactions in QBSE. I'm always here to help. Take care!
