Help with importing a qbo file into quckbooks online

Hello to all who read this,  am wondering how, if possible, would I import a Qbo file to QuickBooks online...

Let me explain in further detail...

On my bank's website, (Chase), I conducted a search for all Zelle debit transactions for a specific time period. When I click on "download  activity", it gives different options as to the file type I want to download the activity as a Quicken file, Excel, (. XLs,. CSV), and QuickBooks Qbo format. I chose the Qbo format.

.....Can anyone tell me how I would import the file to QuickBooks Online? I want to run a report using the activity on that file only to calculate the totals for each individual that we sent Zelle payments to.

IIf this makes sense to ANYONE, please help!

Thank you in advance for your time.

Help with importing a qbo file into quckbooks online

I'll assist you in importing transactions in QuickBooks Online using a QBO file format, AngelR_73.

If your account is connected to Online banking, follow the steps below.

  1. Navigate to the Transactions tab, then Bank transactions.
  2. Select the blue tile for the account you want to upload the transactions into.
  3. Choose the Link account ▼ dropdown and then Upload from file.
  4. Select Drag and drop or select files and select the file you downloaded from your bank. Then select Continue.
  5. In the QuickBooks account ▼ dropdown, select the account you want to upload the transactions into. Then select Continue.
  6. Follow the onscreen steps to match the columns on the file with the correct fields in QuickBooks. Then select Continue.
  7. Select the transactions you would like to import. Then select Continue.
  8. Select Yes.
  9. When you accept your transactions, select Done.

If it isn't connected, here's how to do it:

  1. Go back to the Transactions tab, then Banking transactions.
  2. Click Upload transactions.
  3. Select Drag and drop or select files and select the file you downloaded from your bank. Then select Continue.
  4. In the QuickBooks account ▼ dropdown, select the account you want to upload the transactions into. Then select Continue.
