When you connect your bank and credit card accounts to online banking, QuickBooks Self-Employed automatically downloads your latest transactions. QuickBooks may occasionally download duplicate transactions. Here's how we can fix this.
To start, let's check your bank statement. Pull up the statement for the period you see the duplicate. Then, you can either exclude or delete the duplicate transactions.
On the other hand, you can also delete any duplicate transactions you've added manually. Let me show you how:

Thanks for the reply, unfortunately this happen for almost my entire upload of last year. Is there a quicker way then going one by one?

I know a way to get this done in QuickBooks, userjustinderavin.
We can exclude duplicate transactions by batch in QuickBooks Self-Employed (QBSE). I'll show you how.
