Buy nowI am having a problem with one of my accounts while running report P&L Actual vs. Budget. I am getting all line items in my "accounts" file that are not a part of the current budget. This does not occur in my other accounts so I must have done something, unknowingly to remove these.
How can I hide these items?
Hi there, jdrichardson. You can personalize the P&L Actual vs. Budget report to remove the unnecessary line items.
If you're referring to the line items of the accounts, please follow the steps below:
1. Open the report that needs customization.
2. Click on the Customize Report option located at the top of the page.
3. Navigate to the Filters tab and select Account.
4. Choose the specific account you want to filter.
5. Go back to the Filter section and choose Item.
6. Click the dropdown button and select Multiple items.
7. Check all the necessary items that need to be included in the report.
If you're referring to the accounts as line items, simply filter the accounts by selecting Multiple items and checking all the accounts to be included in the report.
You can memorize reports in QuickBooks if you want the same settings of the customized report to be available for future use.

Good morning,
This is still puzzling... I have my fields set up as all other accounts and this particular one continues to show all line items without any budget numbers, blank entries. Needless to say, it is making me crazy! I seem to recall I had this issue before and it was a simple fix on my part...
Thank you for any further assistance...
