Hiding subaccounts is possible depending on the kind of report you run, @afathersplaceceo. If you run the Account List report, we'll need to manually select the main account by filtering it. I'll share the full details below.
In the Filter section in the report, select how you want to show your data in the three provided fields. Here's how:

Do you just need to hide the sub accounts? You can use the collapse feature.
If you click the collapse button then you can hide the sub accounts
I wasn't clear enough in my intial post. I am saving reports with the subaccounts hidden. Whenever I utilize management reports it expands them. I was looking for a way to have the subaccounts remain hidden in management reports. I apologize about my lack of clarity.

While there are many ways to customize reports in QuickBooks Online, I recommend submitting feedback for what you've described with the subaccounts. This can be done directly through your account by clicking the Gear icon in the top right corner, then select Feedback.
