Welcome to the Community, @maryrose2! Good morning. :) I can definitely show you that setting within your QuickBooks Online account. Let's save you some time so you don't have to edit each invoice:
- Go to the Gear icon in the upper right hand corner
- Under Your Company, select Account and Settings
- Click the Payments tab on the left
- In Payment Methods, uncheck the box next to credit cards
This will remove credit cards as one of the options for your customers and you won't have to keep editing (yay!). You can also make this change individually per customer as well:
- Click on Invoices on the left menu
- Go to the Customers page
- Select the name of the customer and click on Edit
- In the Payment and billing tab, select the Preferred payment method
- Click on Save
