How can I export a product list without Quickbooks adding the category and a colon to the beginning of the name? I'd like the Category to be a separate column if possible

When I export my product list, it adds the category like this: "Category: Product Name". I want just "Product Name"

Hello, @moonshot. It's great to have a new face in the Community.

While you're able to manually update info that's been exported, you can change the product name after you export the data.

I can leave feedback to our Product Development Team. They're always creating new, easy to use tools for the future.

If you have any more questions, please don't hesitate to reach back out. Have a safe weekend!

Yes, please share the feedback with the dev team. The ability to add 'Category' as an extra column, separate from 'Product/Service Name' would be ideal.

Thanks for your reply.

I second the addition of this feature!  I am trying to export my product list into a label designer and I don't want the category in front of my product name . . . so, I have to manually delete the category on every label I create.  Ugh.

Thanks for improving QB Online!
