You may export and import Lists data using the default feature

go to menu File > Utilities > Export > Lists to IIF Files

But you will need the exporter/importer tool for transactions data

Hope it helps.

Great to have you here, therucker3.

You can export the customer's list through the Utilities menu in QuickBooks Desktop 2013.

Here's how:

  1. Click File on the top menu.
  2. Choose Utilities.
  3. Select Export.
  4. Hit Lists to IIF Files.
  5. Place a checkmark for Customer List in the Select the list you want to export page.
  6. Tick OK.
  7. Browse the location where you want to save your file.
  8. Tap Save.

Once done, import the list into your QuickBooks Desktop 2020. Just follow the steps and details in this article: Export lists from the old company file into a new data file. Then, go to Step 3: Import the list section.

I have articles here for your future reference about when to start a new company file and merging data files:

Merge companies, data files or copy lists

Keep me posted if you need anything else with exporting your files or any QuickBooks related. I'll be here to answer them.
