How can I verify the customer received a refund?

I issued a customer a refund for a payment he made through QB's online.  He said he didn't receive the refund.  How can I check on this to see if it went through?

I'll provide some important details regarding the refund processing times. 

 

When you issue a customer refund in QuickBooks, the processing time will depend on the customer's bank. Usually, your customer will receive the funds within 7 to 10 business days. 

 

Meanwhile, we can verify if the funds were already deducted from your bank account and check the refund status for you. However, I'm unable to access your transaction details here in the Community since it's a public place. I'd recommend reaching out to our QuickBooks Support team to help you verify the refund status. Here's how to contact them:

 

  1. Sign in to your QuickBooks Online account.
  2. Click the Help button.
  3. In the QuickBooks Assistance chatbox, select Talk to a human and choose I still need a human.
  4. Select Contact Us.
