I'm here to help walk you through viewing and saving your scanned receipts in QuickBooks Online.
Here's how:
Once complete, check the downloaded file in your Downloads folder. You can now transfer the receipt to your thumb drive.
That should do it! This should get you going in keeping a back-up copy of your scanned receipts.

You can review the receipts in the Receipt tab. For the detailed steps, you can refer to this article: Manage your receipts in the Receipts tab.

The receipts were matched, but now I need to see the scan. The article does not help, not does anything else I have found on this site. I really need to review the scans.

As mentioned by my colleagues above, to review your scans, you would need to see the reviewed tab. The reviewed tab is for receipts that have already been scanned into the company. Below I have included a screenshot of the reviewed tab for visual preference.
The image of the receipt will be under the Receipt column. To get to the reviewed tab:

Go to the expenses tab, then click the View/Edit button on the right side of the receipt you want to view, and then scroll down to the attachments and click and you'll be able to see
