How do I add detail to an invoice statement so it shows the 3 items that make up the total amount they owe?

Hello there, @boblgnj.

Currently, the option to add detail to an invoice showing that the total amount the customer owed is for three different items is unavailable. I'm here to provide some workaround.

We can download the PDF customer statement for a specific customer in QuickBooks Online (QBO) and edit it outside of QBO to provide the necessary details.

Here's how:

  1. Go to Sales and select Customers.
  2. Locate the customer's name and click the Action dropdown. Then, select Create statement.
  3. In the Statement Type dropdown, click Transaction Statement.
  4. Enter other necessary information.
  5. Select Print or Preview and click the download icon.
