How do I change a person who was added as an employee to a vendor

Append a period to end of his/her name when adding as a new vendor to get around the prohibition on duplicate names. Or add the period to the employee name and then add as vendor. Then you can deactivate the employee.

You've come to the right place, @usergoodhealthfitnes.

 

You can add a special character on the display name of the vendor so it will not be identical to the employee's name. For example, if the added employee's name is "Contact"Then, you'll need to add an identifier to change this to vendor such as a period (vendor's name will be "Contact.").
