Hi @kevindrexler71-i ,
Thanks for dropping by the Community. Let me walk you through deleting a customer in QuickBooks Online (QBO).
Before we proceed with the steps, please take note that when you delete customers in QBO, the transactions associated with them remain in your company data Reports. Additionally, deleting a parent customer will include its sub-customers.
There are two ways on how to delete a customer.
Option 1:
1. Go to the Sales menu at the left panel, then pick the Customers tab.
2. Choose a customer, then on the Customer Details tab, click Edit.
3. Select Make inactive at the button, then Yes to confirm the deletion.
Option 2:
1. Go back to the Customers tab, then put a check mark on the box beside the customer's name.
2. Click the Batch actions drop-down, then choose make inactive.
3. Select Yes to confirm the deletion.
There you have it! You may also check out this video for more information here . Cheers.
