Deleting a customer using a mobile app is unavailable. As a workaround, you can log in to your QBO account using a web browser instead.
Before we proceed with the steps, please take note that when you delete customers in QBO, the transactions associated with them remain in your company data Reports.
There are two ways on how to delete a customer. Let me show you how.
- Go to the Sales menu.
- Pick the Customers tab.
- Mark the tick box beside the customer's name you want to delete.
- Click the Batch actions drop-down.
- Choose to Make inactive.
- Select Yes to confirm the deletion
Option 2:
1. Go to the Sales menu at the left panel, then pick the Customers tab.
2. Choose a customer, then on the Customer Details tab, click Edit.
3. Select Make inactive at the button, then Yes to confirm the deletion.
