How do I edit description of an inventory item? Quick Books Desktop Pro 2020?

I'll be happy to walk you through on how to edit the description of an inventory in QuickBooks Desktop Pro. Here's how: 

1. From the Lists menu, select Item List.
2. Find the inventory item, then double click it.
3. Edit the information in the Description on Sales Transactions field. 
4. Hit OK.

Modifying the Description on Purchase Transactions when editing an item is an easy process. I'll show you how:

1. Go to the List menu and choose Item List.
2. Double-click on your selected inventory item.
3. From the Purchase Information section, edit the Description on Purchase Transactions.
4. Once done, click OK to save the changes.
