How do I get a Customer ledger ?

By following these steps, you’ll be able to access your customer ledger and find itemized transactions for a specific customer in QuickBooks Online, @BudA.

To get your customer ledger in the program, you can simply follow these steps:

  1. From the left navigation menu, choose Sales.
  2. Click on the Customers tab.
  3. Locate and select the customer for whom you want to view the ledger.
  4. Go to the Transaction List. This will display a list of all transactions associated with that customer, including invoices, payments, and other sales-related activities. You can also filter the transactions by date, type, or status.
  5. You can click on the transaction's name to view the detailed information of a specific entry.

To find itemized transactions on a customer, refer to the instructions below:

  1. On the Customer's page, select Transaction List.
  2. Look for the transaction you want to view.
  3. Click on its name. This is where you can see the itemized information, such as the products or services sold, quantities, prices, and all applicable discounts or taxes.

You can also generate a Sales by Product/Service Detail report or Transaction Detail by Account. Then, add the Products/Services option from the Small Gear icon and filter the statements to Customers to see all their itemized transactions.
