Thank you for visiting the QuickBooks Community. This isn't the kind of impression that I'd like you to have while using the software. Please note that QuickBooks is continuously improving the product's features to meet our customer's needs. That said, I'll be sharing some details about the "Get things done" tab.
Getting rid of or hiding the Get Things Done tab in the Dashboard menu is unavailable in QuickBooks. This is the default interface once you log in to the program. These new improvements allow you to create your transactions quickly from the Dashboard. It also includes easy access to your Audit log, you'll have to click the See all activity in the bottom part.
For now, I encourage you to submit a request about Get Things Done section by going to the Gear icon in QuickBooks Online. Then, choose Feedback. From there, any suggestions are forwarded to the Product Development Team for consideration in future updates.
