How do I import invoices from another app to Quickbooks?

What is the name of the app? You may need a 3rd party connector to mirror the invoice data automatically into QBO. Another option, import the invoice data manually.

How do I import invoices from another app to Quickbooks?

I'm here to guide you so you can import invoices, hjrservices2021.

QuickBooks Online (QBO) lets you import invoices from a certain application to QuickBooks depending on the app you're using.  However, you can also import multiple invoices at once using a spreadsheet. To create one, get the sample file and follow the steps below:

  1. Go to the Gear or Settings icon.
  2. Select Import data.
  3. Choose Invoices.
  4. Download sample csv.

Then, upload the spreadsheet.

  1. Go to Settings ⚙ and select Import data.
  2. Select Invoices.
  3. (Optional) Select the checkbox to add new customers that don't already exist in QuickBooks.
  4. Select Browse and then find and select the spreadsheet of your invoices.
Note: If you have newly imported customers without setting their proper currency, QuickBooks assumes the currency is USD. If you have multicurrency turned on, you can import invoices in foreign currencies.
  5. Select Next.

Next, map your import fields. Here's how:

  1. Map the column headers with invoice fields in QuickBooks. Fields with an asterisk (*) are required.
  2. Select Not applicable for any fields not in your spreadsheet.
Note: QuickBooks populates with a generic item called "sales" for missing products and services.
  3. Select the date format you used, like DD/MM/YYYY.
  4. Select Next.

After you've mapped the fields, review the summary of your import. If everything looks good, select Start import. Once you’re done:

  • Select OK if all your invoices are imported.
  • If some invoices fail to import, note why and then select Done.

In addition, your customers can pay for invoices online with a credit card, debit card, and ACH bank transfer. Learn more from this article on how to process payments in QuickBooks: Take And Process Payments In QuickBooks Online With QuickBooks Payments
