How do I map the deposit field that shows on invoices to a liability account? The option is found on the Sales Form Content screen. It currently posts to cash.

There is no dropdown that lets you identify which account to use for the DISCOUNT and that is the issue we keep bringing up.  Yes, we can identify accounts in deposits, but we CANNOT MAP AN ACCOUNT TO USE FOR DISCOUNTS ON INVOICES AND WE HAVEN'T BEEN ABLE TO DO THAT FOR YEARS!

@JulieCee @ecocpa   My apologies, I get so many e-mails from Intuit/QB I skip through most of them.  Feel free to message me if you still need the help after this message.  Ok, I looked at my books and taken a screen shot.  Take a look at the attached.  I've circled where you select the account to deposit.

This is brilliant, thank you! Makes good sense, I cant wait to try it.

Along the same lines, I've been using temp bank accounts (or "dummy" bank accounts) to wrangle business expenses paid with a personal credit card, for example.  I have the client export their credit card transactions to a spreadsheet, we fix up the data a bit, and then upload them into the dummy bank account. Then we just journal entry the total for each month to Loan from Officer.  It's such a good hack!
