How do i match multiple mobile deposits to one journal entry?

In QuickBook, you can only match a transaction to multiple entries but not multiple transactions to a single entry.

As a workaround, you can disregard or delete the mobile deposits and manually add them in QuickBooks then clear the Journal Entry.

To manually record deposits, here's how:

1. Click the + New icon.
2. Select Bank Deposit.
   
3. Fill in the necessary information.
4. Select Save and close or Save and new.
   

To clear the Journal Entry, you can follow the steps below:

1. Go to the Accounting menu. Then select Chart of Accounts.
2. Find the account and select View register. 
3. Select the transaction you want to clear.
4. Review the check column.
5. Select the box and keep clicking it until the box is C.
6. Select Save. Then close your register.

Hello, 

I usually match the bank deposit to a journal entry that is split between several accounts. This is a nonprofit organization so I am not necessarily documenting each donation under each person. I need to keep the journal entry. I am not sure if this is the right way to do this. 

Thanks and please let me know if there is another way to keep the journal entry. If I exclude the mobile deposits and keep the journal entry I am not sure if the account will reconcile at the end of the month (?) Any other suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
