Hi there, @jallerdice.
I'm here to provide information about removing a bank account from QuickBooks Bill Pay.
In QuickBooks, there's no option to remove the bank account connected from Bill Pay. However, you might consider changing the bank account to fund your bills. To change it, you can follow the steps below for your guidance:
- Sign in to your QuickBooks Online company file.
- Go to Expenses, then select Bills.
- Click Add Bill, then select Create Bill to make a new transaction or select an existing unpaid bill in the Unpaid tab.
- Select Schedule payments.
- Click Change account if you want to update to a different bank account.
- Select Manage for each payment to update the delivery details/withdrawal date.
- You can select Apply to All to apply a withdrawal date to all payments in a batch.
- Select Continue.
- Review the payment, then if everything looks correct, select Schedule payments.
Moreover, if the bank account you used for Bill Pay is connected to online banking, you can disconnect this account connected to QuickBooks Online. This way, your existing accounting data won't change, and you can reconnect it anytime to start downloading transactions again.
