How do i see if i had already sent an invoice

the old QB i could see exactly when i sent an invoice, now this is not here. Any help would be greatly appreciated

How do i see if i had already sent an invoice

You can review when an invoice is sent directly from the form, magsys. I'll be pleased to walk you through the process to help you keep track of your sales transactions.

 

In QuickBooks Online, you can easily track customer invoices by checking their status in just a few steps. That said, you can proceed to these steps to check if  they're sent to customers already from the invoice page:

 

  1. Locate the invoice and open it.
  2. Click on Manage, then look at the Status section if it says Sent.
  3. You can select the Activity link for more details.

 

Alternatively, you can directly access the Invoice activity to check if it's delivered via email without opening your sales form. To do this, you can follow these steps:

 

  1. Head to Sales, then Invoices.
  2. Click the transaction to open the invoice detail window.
  3. You can see Sent under Invoice activity.

Oh hey @magsys , don't you love that @KimberlyS's response tells you that now you can access this feature in just "a few steps" when previously this feature was available in NO steps?? It was right there ON THE INVOICE FOR YOU. Don't you love how Quickbooks took that convenient, even essential feature, and MADE IT HARDER TO ACCESS???

 

Why in the world should customers have to LEAVE an invoice to view it's activity history?? This is exactly what we asked here on this forum and the product engineering team MONTHS ago when they initially removed it. It's almost like our feedback is useless.

 

Have fun discovering all the other features that have been removed on the new invoice layout, @magsys despite customer feedback. You're going to hate it.
