A way to get rid of the ads is by manually closing them through the X sign or the No thanks option. While we're unable to stop them from showing, rest assured that I'll send along your suggestion to our Product Developers. They're always looking for ideas to consider on how to improve QuickBooks. In the meantime, you can visit our Blog site where we share what's new and future updates.
Please let me know if you have any other questions, I'll be here to help. You take care and have a good one!
@Catherine_B It is not true that Quickbooks is "unable to stop [ads] from showing." It's your software, you wrote it, you can make the ads stop if you choose to. The true answer would be "we can stop them, but we choose not to."
I find it despicable that I'm paying you for a service and you interrupt my work to try to sell me more. I don't take unsolicited sales calls on the phone -- I certainly would not take them when they pop-up on my computer.
Stop these ads now.
I so agree, QB can stop the ads but they choose not to. I took the time to indicate on all my 25 stores that I did not want ads, but they keep coming. I pay a lot of money to use QB so I should have a preference if I want the ads or not. Stop putting Ads in my QB!!!
