Thank you for posting here in the Community, @NCOLE. I’ll help you with adding discounts when invoicing in QuickBooks Online (QBO).
We can add discounts per line item when creating an invoice. I’ll show you how:
- Select the + New, and select Invoice under Customers.
- Enter the necessary details.
- Under Product/Service next line item after the product you want to add a discount to, select Discount or click + Add new. Then, select any type of product information and enter Discount as the Name.
- Click Save and close.
- Enter the amount of the discount as a negative value under the Amount column (e.g – 50.00).
- Click the Add subtotal button to display the discounted amount.
- Click Save and send or Save and close.
