How do you look up purchase orders by number?

We pay off Purchase order number. We were using Quickbooks desktop where you can look up the PO by number, so I know who to pay. I need to know how to find the PO by it's number, so I can pay the bill.

How do you look up purchase orders by number?

Greetings, @radams-stapphome

Welcome to the Community. I appreciate you coming here with your question about looking up a specific purchase order by number in your QuickBooks Desktop account.

There are multiple ways to find a purchase order within your account. Here are two:

  1. Hit Ctrl + F to bring up the search option and enter the PO number. Note: You can also filter the search by vendor, date, etc.
  2. Go to the Vendor Center, press the Vendor's name, and see all the POs listed under their name

Here's a guide that can help your business in the future: Purchase Orders

I hope this helps and you locate the PO. I'm only a reply away if you need me. Have a wonderful day!
